I completed this exercise. It took a long time — partly because I have been trying to work out the schedule that best suits me (I’m aiming to do 2 art sessions a day) and also because the whole application of shades is “new” to me or I have not done it before so it doesn’t come quickly this far, but clearly, as I move through every exercise I do notice the improvement.
Comments Session: 61 (Cont.)
I am happy to have completed this exercise! And as I post it on the website I can see more changes to make... but I’ll leave it as it is. I am loving these skull exercises — even when they do get a little “hideous” to carry on; they are a whole new learning scope for me. (Note: as soon as I complete the next assignment I’ll be working on skull memorizing exercises).

"For a happy life it is important to cultivate an atmosphere of growth—the sense that we are learning new things, getting stronger, forging new relationships, making things better, helping other people. Habits have a tremendous role to play in creating an atmosphere of growth, because they help us make consistent, reliable progress." —Gretchen Rubin, "Better Than Before".
"All Our life, so far as it has definite form, is but a mass of habits—practical, emotional and intellectual,— systematically organized for our weal or woe, and bearing us irresistibly toward our destiny." — William James, Talks to Teachers and Students.
“Who is strong? He that can conquer his bad habits.” — Benjamin Franklin.
"Habits gradually change the face of one's life as time changes one's physical face; & one does not know it." —Virginia Wolf, diary, April 13, 1929.
